What a migration project involves
Migration covers the full arc of moving compute, storage, and network infrastructure from one location to another. The trucks are the smallest part. The real work is discovery, dependency mapping, designing the destination, building runbooks, rehearsing the cutover, and stabilizing the new environment afterward. For a mid-market enterprise, the project typically runs three to nine months from serious planning to a stable post-move state.
